We have established a new business unit of Bosch, Bosch US Photovoltaics, to address the market in solar energy. The core business of this new business unit is the development and manufacturing of silicon based wafers and solar cells, as well as thin film modules.  

Position Overview: 

We are currently seeking a Business Developer for Bosch in the US PV Business. The candidate will develop strategic development in this new business unit at Bosch.

Responsibilities: 

Establish local US market expertise (legislations, other drivers / barriers, competitor landscape) and local contacts to key players. Technology scouting in co-operation with Bosch technology experts.

Develop market entry strategy for US PV business (Value chain, regional and segment positioning, business model analysis, recommendation and implementation, M&A...) including manufacturing, logistics and sales concepts.

Mid Term goal: Plan and support build up of Bosch US PV operations.

Qualifications:

  • Track record in strategic projects, proven experience in PV market (sales and marketing or business development preferred), strong analytic thinking, strong networking skills and ideally existing contacts in US PV Market, hands on (pragmatic), self motivating and goal oriented.
  • MBA with technical background required.
  • Robert Bosch experience preferred but not necessary.
