Gulf Power is a subsidiary of the Southern Company (SO on NYSE), and is located in the beautiful panhandle of Northwest Florida serving over 400,000 customers from Pensacola to Panama City.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and creative individual with experience in the field of Renewable Energy to develop and implement new programs that promote the use of customer-sited Renewable Energy systems by our mass market customers - residential and small commercial.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work from our corporate office in Pensacola, Florida and be responsible not only for developing programs to promote Renewable Energy, but also for monitoring their success, training our customer service and marketing employees on these programs, answering some direct customer inquiries, and interacting with our regulatory oversight commission (the Florida Public Service Commission).
Florida's legislative and regulatory stance on energy is changing rapidly. The successful candidate will have a rare opportunity to develop and implement significant new programs that will have a lasting impact on our customers, our environment and our company.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be tobacco free at least six months prior to applying, and be able to pass a background screen and drug test.
