Position Overview:

Make a direct impact as a Senior Financial Analyst!

Be responsible for general accounting of service activities and oversee the warranty accounting process. Perform financial analysis and reporting to analyze efficiencies, support Controller in forecasting future service revenues, costs and warranty provisions. Work with departmental managers to retrieve data for case files using accounting software and service database.  Be responsible for monthly billing of extraordinary costs.

May support site supervisors and/or Regional Service Managers on spending at the site level, and provide general financial research and analysis. Support month end close activities, such as office budget variance reports and overhead allocations. Monitor accuracy of financial reporting and suggest corrective actions if needed. Find variances, make summary reports and expand to support other areas as needed.

Service contracts expertise is a plus.

Education, Training & Skills Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred.    
  • 3-5 years of financial analysis experience.    
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.    
  • Ability to work as part of a team.    
  • Flexibility and adaptability.    
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Scope:

  • Budget Management:  Indirectly influences 15+ mUSD in budgets.    
  • Interaction:  Regularly interacts with Personnel in the same department and throughout the company.    
  • Decision-Making:  Makes recommendations and gives direction to others; performs work fairly independently or with minimal supervision.    
  • Impact:  Major impact.  Results of this job have an effect on total business results for several months. Job supports activities of Controller and provides support to internal customers.
