KLD Research & Analytics, Inc., the world's leading provider of corporate investment intelligence on social, environmental, and corporate governance issues is seeking a sales marketing specialist to assist its growing global sales organization.

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting in various facets of KLD's sales operations. Significant focus on the execution and monitoring of Sales Department marketing programs. Will both transition qualified leads to appropriate Sales Executives and actively sell a range of Research Products.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement ongoing email sales campaigns to targeted and general audiences -- writing content, developing recipient lists, tracking and reporting results and initial direct contact follow-up.

Make initial contact with all incoming leads received through the www.KLD.com website. Responsible for the KLD administration of Salesforce.com, including data input and import (sales lead info, various sales & marketing documents) and page layout customization. Contribute to weekly and monthly reports for sales staff. Sales reporting data will include conferences, weekly tasks, and updated campaign results. Customize sales reports as requested.

Work with the Executive Assistant to the President in managing event logistics for trade shows, exhibitions, seminars and conferences that Sales Executives plan on attending. Professionally represent KLD at appropriate conferences and trade shows, as needed.

Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on sales pricing, products and strategies.

Collaborate with Managing Director of Global Sales on development of departmental policies and procedures.

Supervision:

Position reports to Managing Director of Global Sales. Outside of major project initiatives or new systems implementations, which are reviewed and approved by Managing Director of Global Sales, the position requires ability to work independently.

This position has some client contact and extensive prospect interaction.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree is required for this position. Prior experience in financial services and in implementing successful sales campaigns is strongly preferred. Must have the ability to make initial sales contact and meet quota requirements. Required to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.

Salesforce.com administration skills are strongly preferred.

All Resumes and cover letters submitted will be evaluated. Candidates will be contacted for interviews. Phoning KLD directly regarding this position will immediately disqualify consideration.
