Description

BCS, Incorporated is an established management-consulting firm specializing in domestic and international energy-market research, industry analysis, database design and development, strategic program evaluation and planning, and communication and outreach services. BCS clients include Federal and State government agencies and private -sector organizations.

BCS, Incorporated requires an Energy Analyst with 1 - 5 years experience. Candidates must have an understanding of energy policy issues, energy emergency preparedness and response, energy markets, and the U.S. energy infrastructure including that for electric, oil, gas, distributed generation, and renewable energy.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate creativity as well as strong problem solving and time management skills. Candidate must be willing to work on both team and independent assignments. Strong skills also required in data collection and analysis, organizing and presenting complex information, writing and presentation development. Assignments will range from quick-turn-around requests to long-term analysis. 

Experience in the following areas is a plus but not required: simulation tools, geographic information systems, energy and economic data sets, or energy emergency response activities, distributed generation, and government contracting. 

The successful candidate must be client-oriented, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be articulate in written and oral communication. BA/BS in relevant field required.
