As part of our international expansion, we will very shortly establish a subsidiary in Sacramento, California and are therefore seeking a Project Engineer: Photovoltaic, Installation.
In this full-time position you will be responsible for the technical planning of projects. You will also be responsible for the project commencement, pricing of quotes and implementation planning, including project documentation and associated calculations.
Your other main areas of responsibility will be:
- Project management
- Coordination of material deliveries
- Evaluation of offers and allocation of contracts
- Support of the sales department / sales partners
- Implementation of training
- Active monitoring of technical innovations
You will need to have completed a degree in electrical, energy, mechanical, process or civil engineering.
In addition you should have work experience in the planning and realization of solar energy / photovoltaic systems. Profound knowledge of energy and electro-technology systems is a basic requirement.
You should be assertive, and capable of working in an independent, customer-oriented manner, but you must also have the ability to work in a team. Good knowledge of MS-Office is required and CAD skills are an advantage. Knowledge of the German language is not essential, but advantageous.
You must have a desire to bring a growing company to the front of the market and wish to develop yourself further within the company.
