Description
New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility (NHBSR), whose mission is to build and support a network of businesses committed to adopting socially responsible business practices in New Hampshire, seeks its first Executive Director.
The person who fills this part-time position will provide strategic leadership, design and implement innovative programs, and support the growth of NHBSR's membership.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, this individual will have the opportunity to lead NHBSR from a grassroots volunteer organization to one that is the premier network and resource for corporate social responsibility in the state and beyond.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in nonprofit management, fund development, corporate social responsibility and/or organizational development. Additionally, one should have demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, membership outreach and oral/written communications skills. Ability to work with corporate and non-profit audiences is a must.
This person should be able to work independently, travel throughout the state as necessary and manage one administrative staff.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to build an organization; hours are flexible and may work from home. Plan is to evolve this position into full-time within one to two years.
