Description
SWA is seeking an engineer or professional to assist in improving the performance of American homes through research and design. Projects will focus primarily on energy efficiency and renewable energy in homes, but IEQ, moisture management, reducing and reusing materials, and other aspects of sustainable home design and construction will come into play.
Work will include design, research, modeling, performance testing, monitoring, and product development. Applicant should have a strong technical background with a solid knowledge of home energy systems. SWA is especially interested in applicants with a working knowledge of residential solar systems. Familiarity with residential HVAC design, energy modeling, home energy testing, and building science is also beneficial. Engineering degree is preferred but not required.
