Description
This is a full time position located at our Freshwater Institute in Shepherdstown, WV, to support our on-going aquaculture and fisheries bioengineering activities with a broad range of clients, with a primary focus on engineering services for the US Fish and Wildlife Service, National Fish Hatchery System.
Responsible for project based engineering activities including: hydraulics analysis, mathematical modeling, data collection and summarization, process and equipment research, engineering cost estimation, computer-aided design, and review of engineering plans.
Additional Qualifications:
BS degree in environmental, civil, agricultural, biological or mechanical engineering required. Must have a minimum of two years experience. Must be able to travel throughout the Northeast US and work long hours. The ability to interact with staff at all levels/divisions a must. Must be customer service oriented to effectively communicate with clients, cooperating consultants, regulatory angencies and equipment vendors. Strong written and oral communication skills essential.
