Description
Position Overview: Primarily responsible for fulfillment and relationship management with specific districts as determined by the Director.
Also responsible for program-wide data organization and reporting; overall coordination of all events as well as managing all email lists and program-wide communication.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
*Lead customization effort with specific districts and schools as determined by the Director and each District's agreement. Work with other Liberty Science Center departments, as needed, to fulfill each district's agreement.
*Facilitate planning sessions and develop partnerships between District personnel and key Liberty Science Center staff.
*Manage collection, compilation, and dissemination of all data associated with fulfillment of all 30 District Agreements. Prepare data for the mid-year and final reports to the State.
*Work closely with all Liberty Science Center departments, especially Sales and Customer Relations, to collect programmatic data on a monthly basis.
*Design a systematic approach to gather input from Ambassadors and other constituents and disseminate to all appropriate Liberty Science Center staff.
*Manage and update all Filemaker Pro databases for the department.
*Maintain and improve listservs to disseminate timely information regarding the Partnership Program and other items of interest in science and education.
*Write and publish a newsletter five times a year. Use both electronic and print versions.
*Planning and executing events for the department, including Ambassador Days, Community Evenings and Parent Liaison Days.
Other Tasks:
*Organize the department's presence and materials at conferences throughout the State and region.
*Coordinate the scheduling and agenda for monthly Partnership meetings.
*Plan and produce onsite, offsite and online training/orientation sessions as needed.
*Initiate the coordination of the yearly district meeting process.
*Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years work experience in an administrative, educational, project management or related field. Must possess strong spreadsheet and database skills, flexibility, excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of how to work in a formal education environment, and experience working with diverse audiences. Strong written and oral presentation skills also required.
Preferred: Fluent in the Spanish language, program delivery experience, museum and/or education background. Education: BA/BS degree preferred or a minimum of six years work experience in an above mentioned field.
