Description

The U.S. Green Building Council, a rapidly-growing Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting environmentally-responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work, is currently seeking a Program Manager to support the expansion of the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System into the field of commercial interiors.

The LEED-CI Program Manager will manage the launch and implementation of the new LEED for Commercial Interiors Rating System for promoting the design and construction of environmentally sustainable and healthy tenant spaces.

The Program Manager will coordinate the planning and delivery of services including project certification, technical support, customer service, and training with a team of staff and contractors, and will serve as the primary liaison to the committees responsible for technical and policy decisions.

Responsibilities include program and budget planning; staff, contractor and financial management; and committee support and coordination.

Requirements: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience designing and/or managing tenant improvement projects, and possess excellent management and communications skills. Knowledge of LEED strongly preferred.
