Description

The U.S. Green Building Council, a rapidly-growing Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting environmentally-responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work, is currently seeking a Program Manager to support the expansion of the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System into the field of existing buildings.

The LEED-EB Program Manager will lead the market release and implementation of the LEED for Existing Buildings Rating System for promoting environmentally sustainable building operations and maintenance practices. The EB Program Manager will coordinate the planning and delivery of services including building certification, technical support, customer service, and training with a team of staff and contractors, and will serve as the primary liaison to the committees responsible for technical and policy decisions. Responsibilities include program and budget planning; staff, contractor and financial management; and committee support and coordination.

Requirements: Candidates must have a Bachelors degree, 5-10 years of relevant experience in building operations and facilities management, and excellent management and communications skills.
