Fundraiser

Duties:
Friends of Clayoquot Sound is seeking a highly motivated  self-starter for the salaried position of Fundraiser.

Qualifications:
Applicants should be knowledgeable of the organizations  campaigns and of environmental issues.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of an organizational  fundraising plan. The location of the position is flexible.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Experience in fundraising, building and maintaining 
    a membership and major donor base is an asset
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strategic planning skills
• Ability to travel
• Self-motivation and ability to take initiative
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work well in a team
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work effectively with various people, in person  and on the phone
• Ability to think and work creatively and with ingenuity
• Excellent computer literacy
