Embedded System Engineer

Duties:

MTI MicroFuel Cells, Inc., a subsidiary of Mechanical Technology, Inc., is seeking a qualified
candidate who will be responsible for the development of micro fuel cell control and electronic
systems. This will involve simulation, design, prototyping, testing and characterization of the control
and electronic systems.

Qualifications:

• Experience with the simulation and design of real-time electronic controls systems is required,
• Experience in embedded programming with 8 bit devices.

Control algorithms must process multiple
sensor input signals and provide time and history based process instructions to micro electronics
and fluidic systems.

• Experience in testing and debugging embedded algorithms is essential.
• Experience with electronic systems hardware and test analysis of digital, analog and power
  conditioning circuits is highly desirable.
• The candidate must be able to solve problems, create new
  concepts and think on their feet.
• Candidate should possess strong teamwork, written and oral
  communication skills to be able to work within a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications:
BSEE with a minimum of 3 years work experience or MSEE graduate.
