Location: Coastal Georgia

The Nature Conservancy, an International Non-profit Conservation Organization seeks Watershed Scientist.

Entrance Requirements:
Master's degree in biological or physical
sciences, preferably water related, or, bachelor's degree and five years
employment experience working in hydrology or water resource
management. Special knowledge and familiarity with Southeastern US
river systems, aquatic species, natural communities and water management planning desired.

Summary of Position:
Promotes and coordinates a variety of
biohydrological research, monitoring, modeling, planning and communication
activities throughout the South Atlantic Coastal Plain in Georgia. Coordinates the development and implementation of water-shed scale conservation strategies to protect the hydrology of priority river systems in SE Georgia. Special attention will be given to the Altamaha and Savannah rivers during the first year. Participates in state-wide comprehensive water management planning.
