CHF is a nonprofit international development organization for communities, habitat, and finance. CHF serves as a catalyst for sustainable positive change in low- and moderate- income communities around the world, helping families improve their housing, economic circumstances, and environment. CHF has been providing technical expertise and leadership in international and domestic development since 1952.
This position will report to the Country Director. Responsibilities include: evaluate and manage Finance and Administration Section Managers, revise and approve all financial reports, revise and amend contract with local entities, overseas the budget process, revise and update financial procedures, train local staff on financial procedures, and participate in new proposal development. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail are required.
This position requires strong understanding and past experience in non-profit financial management. Prior supervisory experience of mid-level managers in a non-profit setting is vital. Candidates must also have lived and worked in the Middle East, and be familiar with the local customs and language. Candidates must be willing and able to live and work in a region of instability, with a population of culturally and socio-economically diverse individuals.
