Description

The U.S. Green Building Council, a Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting environmentally-responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work, is currently seeking a new staff member to support the rapidly-growing workshop department for its green building rating system program known as LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design).

The LEED Workshop Coordinator will handle workshop coordination duties, including scheduling, logistics, event follow-up, marketing support, database management and customer service for 6-8 training events per month.

Requirements: Candidates must have a Bachelors degree, 2 years of relevant event planning experience, and good communications, organizational and computer skills (MS Office and database). Environmental, nonprofit or building industry experience preferred.
