Description
The U.S. Green Building Council, a Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting environmentally-responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work, is currently seeking a new staff member to support the rapidly-growing workshop department for its green building rating system program known as LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design).
The LEED Workshop Assistant will assist with workshop coordination, customer service (phone and e-mail), marketing support, database management, and registration for 6-8 training events per month.
Requirements: Candidates must be detail-oriented, comfortable handling multiple tasks, and have excellent communication, organizational and computer skills (MS Office, data entry, database query and report writing). College degree and event planning or customer service experience required.
