Wind Assessment Analyst

We are currently seeking a Wind Energy Analyst who will be based out of one of our offices in Ontario, Canada. 

Responsibilities will include the conduct of wind resource assessments and energy yield studies, client liaison and support to business development. 

Job Requirements: 

Successful candidates should have a minimum of five years' consulting experience in the wind energy field with no less than three years as the technical lead on wind studies. 

Relevant educational credentials include civil, electrical or environmental engineering, preferably at the Master's level. 

Successful candidates will demonstrate technical competency and proficiency in a number of the following practice areas: 

• Experience in the erection, commissioning and operation of wind monitoring towers   
• Wind data collection and quality control.   
• Wind flow mapping in simple or complex terrain.   
• Wind resource assessment and energy yield estimation.   
• Wind farm optimization and design.   
• Hands on experience with industry standard wind analysis software.   
• Financing and economic analysis of wind developments.   
• Ability to manage mid- to large-scale projects including quality control of all deliverables, adherence to project schedules and budgets.
