Description
Trout Unlimited (TU), a national non-profit conservation organization dedicated to conserving, protecting, and restoring trout and salmon fisheries, seeks an organized, detail-oriented team player to administer its Web sites, manage daily data sync/database integration, and help with customer service questions from our members.
Additionally, we need someone who can write, edit, and has knowledge of Photoshop as we will be dramatically increasing the volume of content on our site. All our sites are on the Kintera CMS platform, so we don't need a full on tech person - however - we do operate with a sizeable database so some knowledge of databases is required.
The Web producer will work with Kintera and TU's internal team to develop, update, and troubleshoot the sites.
Duties Include:
- Oversee and troubleshoot the site's day-to-day operation and database integration
- Update site daily and post regularly published content, including press releases, legislative alerts, newsletters, and photos
- With internal team, execute marketing and communications strategies
- With internal team, execute areas of site that attract revenue
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience with all aspects of Web site development and administration
- Extensive Content Management System (CMS) experience mandatory; proficiency in Kintera Sphere CMS software desired but not required
- Graphic design/photo editing skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and planning skills
- Interest in marketing, conservation, and fly fishing a plus
