Description

Progressive nonprofit seeks webmaster/editor/writer to update and maintain organization website, including editing HTML documents, creating Adobe Acrobat files, recording digital photographs and graphics editing. Also responsible for producing monthly electronic newsletter to readership of 20,000, assist editing other newsletters, press releases, reports, brochures, booklets as needed, and working with designers and vendors on various projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, HTML required, experience in Flash, Fireworks, JavaScript desired.

Salary $40's; 3 weeks vacation, paid medical other competitive benefits.

Qualifications:
*BA or higher in English, Journalism, or related field
*
2-4 years experience writing / editing for print publications
*
2-4 years experience editing web pages
Skills
*
Strong editorial and writing skills using AP Style
*
Proficiency in MS Office, Dreamweaver, Photoshop
*
Ability to produce high-quality copy under deadlines
*
Ability to code in HTML
*
Familiarity with Digital Photography and editing graphics for web and print
