Sigma Capital Group, Inc. is an investment bank performing primarily project finance transaction sizes of $30-300 million in the energy (with emphasis on renewable energy and energy savings) and real state (with emphasis on sustainable development) industry sectors. 

Position Overview: 

The Company is emerging as a leader in these selected industry sectors, and Sigma Capital is seeking qualified investment banking personnel with project finance and renewable energy industry experience to accelerate its business in this industry sector. The position will be responsible for assisting and leading client projects, primarily project finance, in the $30-$300 million range.

Reports To: Managing Director, Renewable Energy

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sigma Capital Group managing directors to secure clients, strategize corporate development client projects, and insure projects can be implemented if secured;
  • Assist or lead project finance transactions to assure projects are completed on-time, at cost, with desired quality, professionalism and customer satisfaction;
  • Compile and analyze client/project financial, due diligence and other data;
  • Assist managing director on capital restructurings, as directed by managing director;
  • Writing of Confidential Information Memorandums to conform to Company specifications.
  • Assist managing director analyze terms and conditions and make recommendations to managing director for communications to the Client;
  • Contact investors and lenders on assigned projects using the highly ethical and professional standards of the Company;
  • Maintain relationships with designated Attorneys and CPAs assigned to project team;
  • Assure accurate and safe record-keeping of Client communications and correspondence;

Qualifications:

  • 4 years as an analyst or associate role for an investment bank, investment fund or lender in a project finance role.
  • Knowledgeable of the technologies and companies in the renewable energy and agricultural industry sector.
  • Successful in completing project finance transactions in the renewable energy and agricultural industry
  • BA/BS in science or engineering required, MBA or equivalent experience desired.
  • Highest level of ethical standards, integrity, professionalism and judgment.
  • Good communication, writing, negotiation and financial analysis skills, computer and spreadsheet proficiencies.

Compensation: Compensation is unlimited and based on sharing transaction fees, paid at closing of the transaction.  Typical fees range from 0.50% to 1.0% of the transaction size in transactions ranging from $30m -$300m.  Fee is split among those who contributed to the transaction and is determined based on assessment of value added to the transaction by each participant, Origination, Lead, Managing Director, Associates and Analysts.

Candidate will work out of their home at their current location.
