Description
Rails-to-Trails Conservancy is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people and communities by creating a nationwide network of public trails, from former rail lines and connecting corridors.
Duties include supervising policy staff; designing and implementing strategies to build public support for policy agenda; organizing ongoing web-based electronic advocacy campaigns; and coordinating state policy work of regional offices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with minimum of five years of legislative experience on Capitol Hill and/or in non-profit advocacy. Familiarity with trail/bike/ped aspects of federal and state transportation policy desirable.
