Urban Designer

Sasaki Associates, Inc., an international, award-winning planning and design firm is seeking an Urban Designer with 3-5 years experience. Candidates must have strong project design skills and interest in projects such as urban districts, mixed use environments, new communities and town centers, corporate employment and technology campuses, college and university campuses, and recreational and leisure environments.

Position Overview:

 

This position requires broad professional and urban design experience and technical skills in urban design, site planning, sustainable design and graphic/visual communications.

Responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities will include contributions to and initiation of project planning and design ideas, concepts and strategies and ongoing project design production and documentation as part of an interdisciplinary project planning and design team within Sasaki.

Requirements:

An undergraduate and/or graduate degree in architecture, landscape architecture or city planning with an urban design focus is preferred. LEED AP preferred.
