Are you interested in the development of innovative approaches to solving climate change issues?  We are an online start-up that helps individuals and businesses live carbon-neutral by a platform that connects subscribers to a diverse portfolio of GHG-reducing carbon offset projects around the globe.  In the current state of growth, we are looking to leverage the enhancement of existing developments and operations with prospecting for future scope expansion.

Position Overview:

The intern will assist the team with general financial, scientific, and regulatory data management and analysis related to our proprietary carbon footprint calculator, and conduct research in developing our already established carbon offset portfolio.  The intern will also play a key role in Business Development by taking part in projects that involve financial modeling, prospecting, and market research.

Qualifications:

  • Analytical: Keen quantitative sense, as well as the ability to incorporate multidisciplinary approaches to problem solving. The candidate must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Other Data Management tools a huge +
  • Efficient: Dynamic work environment requires ability devise smart and inventive approaches to research and analytical tasks, and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Self-Motivated: The ideal intern is diligent and independent, motivated by a fast-paced work environment and varying projects.
  • Professional: Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and online.
  • Dedicated: Interested in creative approaches to solving climate change issues, and enthusiastic about helping drive the success of a small team.
  • Administrative: Must be able and willing to perform administrative tasks related to company endeavors.
  • Chill: Thrives in a laid-back, dynamic work environment with a high level of responsibility alongside high expectations.

Note: Candidates must also receive Academic Credit for the this Internship, be able to commute to Midtown East, and be able to start by Mid-September.
