Teton Science School Environmental Education Internships

Teton Junior Science School Intern: 4 (Two males and two females).

Date of next available position: Sunday, June 1, Saturday, August 23, 2003

Duties:

TJSS intern assist TSS instructors to teach a summer day program for students entering grades 3rd through 8th. They also share the responsibility of providing overnight supervision of residential student cabins, ensuring safety and adherence to program guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and minimum age 21
• Teaching and leadership experience
• Current first aid and CPR certification
• Safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supervising, leading, and teaching children. Site management and demonstrated interest in environmental education. Basic organizing and planning skills.

Compensation:

Pay is $800/month plus semi private room and all meals provided. Each staff member will also have access to TSS seminars and other learning opportunities at no charge.
