Description

The Green Building Certification Institute seeks a Manager for Test Development who will work closely with the Director of Test Development to support the development, delivery and promotion of all GBCI credentialing activities. They will assist with or lead activities as item writing, item review, item analysis, job analysis and vendor management. The Manager for Test Development will perform detailed statistical analysis of testing data, and format testing data for presentation to executive staff and Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

Test Development:

Support Director with the execution of all test development activities including but not limited to:

  • The development and maintenance of an overall testing plans and schedules
  • The maintenance and improvement of auditing plans of exam applications
  • Oversee the recruitment of SME's for test development activities, and the development and execution of the SME database
  • Oversee customer service issues pertaining to credentialing

Policy and Procedures:

  • Assist senior staff with development of standardized exam policies and procedures and documents
  • Assist senior staff with meeting ANSI 17024 requirements
  • Assist senior staff in budget development
  • Manage test development associate staff, including performance evaluations and work with the Director on setting goals for training activities

Data Analysis:

  • Lead for credentialing data base reporting
  • Develop exam data reporting policies
  • Analyze and present examination data as requested and needed
  • Supervise the Credentialing Dashboard process and data retrieval
  • Evaluate whether changes in errata sheets and USGBC websites affect examination items
  • Develop; update SOPs and training documents for any new processes
  • Perform other departmental tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage and find solutions to difficult situations and respond in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team in a matrix management system
  • Knowledge of ISO-ANSI 17024
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL
  • Interface with technical staff
  • Experience with SAP, SAS or SPSS statistical modeling programs
  • Knowledge of LEED/general green building principles
  • Commitment to GBCI mission
