Description

From our offices in Denmark, the USA and China, MAKE Consulting provides independent and professional advice regarding the wind industry to our clients worldwide. Our portfolio of advisory services is wide ranging and aimed at executive decision support for critical business endeavors such as market entry strategies, supply chain assessments, and M&A due diligence. Our clients include small businesses and the largest multinational corporations from the entire value chain: manufacturers of wind turbine components and wind turbines, utilities, and financial investors. We also serve as one of the industry's leading providers of research and market intelligence, publishing research products to a wide range of subscribers who demand the most up-to-date insight regarding developments in the wind industry.

Our ongoing success is reliant upon the integrity, insight, experience, and skills of our employees and we are now looking for a talented and highly-motivated Technical Data Analyst to join our team in the United States.

Position Overview:

MAKE Consulting is currently seeking candidates with strong technical analysis capabilities and database management skills to become part of a young and successful organization operating in one of the world's fastest growing renewable industries. We seek only the most ambitious candidates to aid in the realization of our corporate goal to become the world's leading wind industry advisory company.

Responsibilities:

As a Technical Data Analyst you will be involved in both advisory projects and market research. Specific tasks include:

  • Primary and secondary desk and field research to further improve and maintain the industry's best and most up-to-date knowledge base within the wind industry
  • Implement sophisticated database systems with user friendly extraction tools to improve the efficiency of ongoing research and advisory projects
  • Process and analyze collected data and information from MAKE's global research team
  • Participate in project teams on research and advisory projects

Qualifications:

The candidate must possess a strong technical background, preferably a mechanical or electrical engineer with relevant wind experience, with exceptional data management skills to process large amounts of information from a myriad of sources. The candidate must also possess the ability to perform detailed quantitative analysis to manage data requests from our global research team.

It is crucial that the candidate be detail oriented with a mind towards quality assurance, as our clients rely upon our analysis for their most critical business decisions, and our databases provide the foundation for our project work. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be a self-starter, have the capability to succeed in a high pressure work environment, and possess the necessary drive and determination to learn and develop their knowledge and abilities.
