Position Description: 

Sebesta Blomberg is currently seeking a Sustainability Specialist at their Arlington, VA location. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and well versed in sustainability in the design and construction industry and will support the growth of a sustainability business line for the company. 

Candidates should be able to demonstrate qualifications / capability in the following areas: 

• Bachelors degree in engineering, architecture, construction management (other educational background will be considered with strong work experience in the building industry) 
• LEED accredited professional strongly preferred 
• Minimum 3 - 8 years sustainability experience, preferably consulting on complex projects for local and national clients. 
• Have a thorough command of environmental legislation, policy and guidance in relation to sustainability issues. 
• Demonstrated familiarity with the environmental assessment process. Have thorough knowledge of the LEED Rating Systems and direct experience in the process of certifying a building in LEED 
• Have a commitment to sustainability.
