Position Overview:

Transwestern, a national full service commercial real estate company, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to work in its Milwaukee, WI office. The primary focus of the Program Manager for Transwestern Sustainability Services (TSS) is to develop program/promotional materials regarding TSS services and develop outreach & educational materials regarding sustainability and LEED certification. These materials shall be prepared consistent with Transwestern standards in a cost effective and timely manner that results in an increased awareness of TSS's strengths and capabilities within Transwestern and in the real estate industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage the RFP process within TSS.
  • Develop an annual media, marketing and communications strategy recommendation report to include in TSS annual Business Plan.
  • Develop and co-manage budget for TSS marketing revenue and expenses to be included in TSS annual budget.
  • Monitor competitors marketing materials and incorporate best practice changes when appropriate
  • Maintain the TSS website. Update on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain sustainability statistics and coordinate distribution as needed
  • Communicate with TW Corporate Marketing, develop stories and secure speaking engagements for TSS team members.
  • Manage the design and development of brochures, tombstone ads, generic power point presentations, proposal templates, etc. under the direction of TW Corporate Marketing
  • Direct, plan and implement client events for TSS including the promotion and logistics of marketing special events
  • Develop educational materials to be used within TW and in LEED certification projects to educate internal TW staff and tenants about TSS, sustainability topics and LEED
  • Travel to project sites to conduct tenant training

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in marketing/journalism preferred.

Experience:

  • 7-10 years prior marketing and/or project management experience required.
  • 5-7 years experience in developing and executing corporate initiates.

Technical Skills:

Must have intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office suite (particularly Word, Power Point and Excel); Adobe Publishing Collection, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Personal Skills:

  • Must be able to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities on a regular basis and a continually heavy workload.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that require a large amount of concentration with interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Must be comfortable in public speaking
  • Strong customer service orientation.
