Position Overview 

We are currently seeking an entry level Sustainability Coordinator to join our Northern California Sustainability team. This position is based in our Sacramento office.

This individual must have a Bachelor's degree in a design field (i.e. Sustainable Building, Environmental Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related field). Recent graduates with studies focused in sustainability will be considered based on experience. 

Responsibilities  

Essential Functions: 

  • Assist and document the LEED process on multiple projects and project types.
  • Assist project teams with LEED rating system selection.
  • Support and monitor LEED goals and responsibilities.
  • Assist and perform technical analysis that supports LEED project goals.
  • Assist in LEED documentation process by creating and uploading documents to LEED Online.
  • Perform QA/QC coordination across all team members LEED documentation.
  • Coordinate with the GBCI throughout review process.
  • Monitor and support LEED project GBCI Certification Closeout. 

Note: While this position is primarily LEED based, there will be opportunities to get involved with firm wide design and operational sustainability goals.


Qualifications
 

Required Knowledge, Skill, and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a design field (i.e. Sustainable Building, Environmental Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related field).
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency with LEED Online preferred
  • Knowledge of sustainability and LEED as well as other rating systems such as CHPS, Living Building Challenge or others.
  • Intermediate skills in Revit preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize task and deadlines while working on multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Attention to detail.
