Position Overview 

Sustainability
Consultant wanted for part-time fieldwork (10 hours/wk) managing
commercial recycling programs for a small group of office buildings and hotels in San Francisco. Work hours are flexible, between 9:00am and 5:00pm, though some early evening work will be required.

Responsibilities 

Duties include: 

  • Assisting with recycling program development;
  • Conducting
    educational seminars and training sessions; and
  • Managing the waste/recycling hauler activities. 

Qualifications  

  • Candidates
    will be working from their home, and must be mature, outgoing, organized, hard
    working, detail-oriented, and be willing to work independently after a short training period.  
  • Candidates must also have
    daily access to a personal or public transportation, smartphone and computer.
  • Previous work experience, education or
    personal interest in the waste/recycling industry and/or sustainability is a must.  

 

Compensation: Pay is $40/hour, maximum of 10 hours/week.
