Description

Create compelling research with a Net Impact advisor, Wharton and McKinsey alumnus and entrepreneur on his second company. HIP Investor, Inc. has several projects requiring research of public and private companies that will be published in 2007 - and will highlight how human impact drives profit. HIP Investor is seeking up to four talented individuals pursuing their MBA to help us apply our innovative framework.

This is an exciting opportunities to dig into sustainability research, showcase the successes and name the laggards - and to help publish and accelerate the wave towards more HIP innovation and investing! Major Responsibilities

  • Lead research on a specific industry and analyze the top ten companies using the HIP framework
  • Conduct interviews with senior sustainability and business leaders regarding their company’s performance and management practices in regards to their HIP score
  • Refine scorecard metrics and create a final HIP scorecard of your findings
  • Create an analysis piece of the industry using the HIP framework as a backbone to analyze the results and offer your own suggestions for sustainable, profitable growth in the industry

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated quantitative and measurement tools
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate social responsibility, socially responsible investing, and/or sustainable business through coursework, employment or volunteer activities
  • Strong internet research and writing skills
  • Ability to set up and lead interviews with senior corporate sustainability leaders
  • Ability to work well independently and as the member of a team
  • In an MBA program or recent (1 year or less) graduate
  • Minimum commitment of 25 hours a week for 10 weeks

Preferred Qualifications

  • International business experience a plus
  • Entrepreneurial background and drive
