Description
The Office of Strategic Environmental Management (OSEM); located in the Office of Policy, promotes new ways to achieve better environmental results. Working with EPA programs and with states, businesses and communities, the OSEM seeks to solve challenging environmental problems through new ideas, creative partnerships, and sound analysis. To foster creative problem-solving, OSEM:
- provides a testing ground for innovative ideas that advance environmental protection;
- assists EPA's national programs and regions in adopting innovative approaches; and
- supports improved environmental performance in business; communities; state, tribal and local governments.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking motivated, energetic and creative summer interns[1] to work on innovative approaches to environmental policy. Workforce diversity is integral to the effectiveness with which EPA carries out its mission. Diversity applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for internships.
