Responsibilities:

The Studio Design Leader will be a technically sound and process driven project designer.

This individual will be responsible for fundamental expertise in the studio's primary market focus area, sustainable design, and furthering that expertise through regular continuing education and professional development activities.

As an agent of "change design", they will develop buildings and environments that are performance-driven, humanistic, and sustainable, while understanding the essential human experiences necessary to advance the client's enterprise and deliver solutions accordingly.

He/She will be responsible for interviewing and hiring qualified designers for the studio and will work in partnership with other studio leaders in the areas of communication, process, building systems design and delivery and fulfilling the broader objectives of the studio.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 15+ years progressive design leadership
  • Design Awards Recognition
  • Bachelor or Masters of Architecture
  • Architectural Registration required
  • LEED Accreditation preferred
  • Experience in large scale, mixed use design and planning
  • Proven team leadership skills
  • Graphic representation skills
