Position Overview:

You will have the latitude to develop your own pipeline of national and global opportunities by prospecting leads, with assistance from our top-notch inside sales team, and you will leverage your knowledge of our product and service offerings to close integrated service package deals. Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Accounts, Business Development Manager for EnerNOC, ideally located in California, Illinois, New York or Pennsylvania, your mandate will be to call on multi-site national and global customers, educate and sell them on our integrated solutions, and close deals. After a ramp up period during which you will learn about our business and process, you will begin playing an integral role in developing our presence in a highly profitably new market. Working out of your home office and spending most of your time out in the field, you will own the sales process from lead generation through to contract signing and upselling, utilizing your experience with all aspects of the sales cycle.

Qualifications: 

Your knowledge of the commodities market and proven track record of communicating at the C-level will allow you to hit the ground running, and your interest in continually expanding your knowledge base will keep you at the top of your game. In addition to prospecting and closing your own national and global deals, we will look to you to support other Business Development Managers with larger, more strategic account dealings. Your knack for meeting and exceeding your quota will allow you to meet and exceed our and your own expectations as you become a critical member of our team. You are experienced, inquisitive, polished, and hungry.
