CLIVUS MULTRUM, INC. designs, manufactures, and sells composting toilets and greywater irrigation systems, with the aim of conserving water and keeping the nutrients in human waste from becoming a source of pollution.  For more than 30 years, Clivus Multrum has led the way in providing environmentally sound waste treatment solutions to customers in North America and beyond.  Today, these systems are used in green buildings, parks, recreation facilities, nature centers, and homes around the world.

Job Overview:

Clivus Multrum is looking for a full-time Special Projects Coordinator to coordinate operations between the business office and the assembly facility, and to provide support to sales, marketing, and field services staff as needed. 

Responsibilities: 

The Special Projects Coordinator's primary responsibilities will include managing communications between assembly facility and business office and maintaining marketing and technical literature. 

Depending on the individual's interests, strengths, and experience, responsibilities may also include any or all of the following:

  • Administering the customer database
  • Researching new marketing opportunities
  • Sales calling
  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Basic IT support

The Special Projects Coordinator will report directly to the Sales Director. 

Qualifications:

  • The successful applicant will be a self-starter,
  • Have an undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Marketing, or Environmental Studies. 
  • This person should be well organized, flexible, creative, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a small office environment. 
  • A proven interest in environmental issues is highly desirable.  
  • The successful applicant should also possess excellent written and oral communication skills and a working knowledge of all MS Office applications. 
  • Past experience with MS Small Business Financials is a plus. 
  • Prior operations, project management, and/or sales experience is also a plus.
