Position Overview:

Pegasus Energy is currently seeking a Sales Manager, Northern California for the California Solar Division. This position will be based in east bay of the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, develop and train a Sales staff of 4 to 6 people
  • Develop business with either incumbent or potential customers
  • Sell PV  solar  systems to business customers, farm customers, schools and governments
  • Make business presentations to customers
  • Plan, monitor and report sales performances
  • Provide technical consultation about solar systems to customers
  • Attend and run trade shows, events, dealer conventions, etc.
  • Develop and build relationship with industry associations and analysts
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
  • Generate and provide sales reports, presentations and communications to executives and headquarters
  • Coordinate and Manage engineering, construction, and system installation 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding of solar industry, markets and customers
  • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, correspondence and public speaking skills required
  • 3+ years experience in solar sales management
  • Technical understanding of commercial, and government solar markets and products.
  • Financial acumen; ability to effectively communicate and utilize financial tools in evaluating, structuring solutions, and selling
  • Demonstrated ability to manage professional client relationships.
  • Ability to manage projects and matrix resources/teams.
  • Ability to work independently and drive sales efforts

Requirements:

  • Authorized to work for an employer in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 10 yrs prior Sales Experience
