Position Overview:
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced salesperson to promote our services and solutions, enabling Ontario property owners to participate in Ontario's microFIT program. Quite frankly, the microFIT program is one of the best investment opportunities available today. Solar electric panels are a big investment. However, under the microFIT program, the investment will pay for itself and earn a handsome return for the investor.
Responsibilities:
- As a Genuine Energy Solar Sales Consultant you are required to participate in basic training exercises, assist at trade shows, maintain an activity log, and attend specific events and seminars.
- Maintain high level of proactive, consultative out-bound client contact.
- Work closely with new clients to educate them on our products. This includes, site visits, presentations, and follow up on all client related issues.
- Act as an integral part of all client implementations to ensure proper set up and help deliver on expectations set at signing.
- Listen effectively to customer requests and objections and successfully overcome to close and/or set up sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- You have several years of experience in commission only sales and are seeking a part time commission only sales position.
- You must be able to network and prospect for qualified leads on a regular basis.
- In order to be successful at this job, the individual must be very self directed and have a strong interest in helping people meet their goals.
- You are professional in appearance at all times and have the ability to sell an intangible service.
- The successful candidate will have a strong belief in the product and have a keen interest in helping people to save money and invest in cleaner technology that will benefit the environment.
- Candidates should have some familiarizations with the building, renovation or energy industries.
- Based on predefined criteria, you would be able to pre-qualify potential customers.
- You are comfortable with basic financial concepts such as ROI and payback.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in sales.
- Excellent business writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good instinct for client need, with advanced listening skills.
- Ability to direct and control client meetings.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Ability to quickly establish himself/herself with a client as a competent professional.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products, web based tools and CRM's.
