Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for managing the company's solar system assets during the equipment selection process, installation, and the life of the system. Primary responsibilities include:
- Maintain a list of approved equipment to be used in quality solar installations.
- Develop solar system design standards as well as best practices to be used during installation
- Review installation system audits for all integrators in an effort to maintain consistency and quality across the portfolio
- Review all permits and engineering designs prior to installation
- Assist integrators, manufacturer partners, and the operations team in the management of change orders and system re-design
- Monitor the production of all systems through a web based software platform. Troubleshoot systems that are operating at less than optimal efficiency and work with system integrators to resolve system issues
- Manage all warranties, including the equipment warranties from the manufacturer and workmanship warranties from the installer.
Qualifications:
Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor degree (BA, BS) required, degree in engineering preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in solar system installation or design. Strong verbal and written communication skills, working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, also required. Must have a willingness to work in an entrepreneurial environment and a passion for renewable energy.
