Software Engineer

Solmetric Corporation, a leading provider of test and measurement solutions for the solar industry, is growing. This full-time position represents an exciting opportunity to join a fun startup in the renewable energy industry and make a major contribution to its success. This individual will join a team of highly motivated Software Engineers to develop cutting edge products for the Solar Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to software architecture and design in a team environment.
• Implement, deploy, and maintain Windows web-based and desktop-based applications.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

Required Experience / Tools / Technologies:

• C# and .NET 3.5
• WPF
• WCF
• C++, C++ CLI, and Win32
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
• Microsoft Expression Blend
• 5+ years software development experience
• 4 year (or higher) degree in science / engineering
• Experience in the Solar Industry a plus
• Experience developing 3D software a plus
• Experience developing for Windows CE / Window Mobile a plus
