Social Marketing Intern

J. Walter Thompson is looking for an intern to work with Thompson Social, its growing social marketing practice.

This is a specialized area of JWT that works with corporations, governments and not-for-profit organizations interested in social change.

Duties:

• You will be supporting the Thompson Social team on daily client work and on business development.
• Research will include issue-based and client-related background analysis.
• You will coordinate creative activities and schedule and coordinate meetings.
• You will build presentations, write contact and status reports, and assemble case studies.
• Compensation: This is a full-time unpaid internship to begin with potential for hiring based on performance.

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is/has:

• A knowledge of, or demonstrated interest in, social change and corporate social responsibility
• Training and/or experience in marketing/advertising strategy and tactics
• Good analytical, writing and organizational skills
• Strong research skills with online and alternative sources
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Solid computer skills especially in Word and PowerPoint
