EnerNOC has an immediate need for Site Technicians to support our operations in Northern California. Site Technicians are responsible for all on-site aspects regarding the deployment of our systems, including the survey of sites for the installation of our systems, coordination with electrical contractors, generator and transfer switch maintenance providers, connectivity providers, utility metering staff, and customer facility representatives to facilitate and maintain installations, and also play a major role in the completion of site installation testing.

Most days will involve travel directly to customer sites, though 5 to 10 percent in-office time can be expected. Our technology and staff is growing and expanding quickly, and an entrepreneurial attitude is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform site surveys for new customer installations.
* Assist Project Managers with the scheduling of electrical, generator service, and maintenance contractors, and work with those contractors to ensure work meets job requirements, and perform inspections of systems installed by contractors.

* Work with facility managers and other customer personnel throughout the installation process.
* Diagnose issues related to existing systems and repair or coordinate others to restore systems.
* Assist sales staff with the assessment of a customer's utility load, curtailment options, and installation feasibility.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:

* Associate or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
* Experience managing and/or supervising projects and contractors.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and a general computing background.
* Experience with backup systems, including generators, transfer switches, other electrical gear, and uninterruptible power systems is a major plus for this position.
* Experience with building management systems, lighting controls and contactors, and/or similar types of systems.
* Background and/or experience in energy management and technology.
* An Electricians License is a benefit but not required.
