Position Overview:

Goals of the position:

Generate sales of Integrated Systems to customers; develop and advance the Company's sales initiatives; maintain client relationships; identify target opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Area of activity:

  • Work closely with Business Development Director to develop client base and execute sales plans.
  • Generate proposals for RFPs as well as unsolicited opportunities. Focus on geographic regional opportunities and support other regions as needed.
  • Run economic analysis (electric load, spending) on customer opportunities to determine whether Solar is a viable option.
  • Solicit new business opportunities and follow through with sales.
  • Coordinate pre and post sales efforts with PPA partners, other channel partners.
  • Leverage marketing programs to gain new accounts.
  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue goals.
  • Close sales consistently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business or related field preferred. MBA desirable.
  • 6 to 10 years Business Development, Marketing or outside Sales experience.
  • Proven track record of quickly building a business with a low level of supervision.
  • Experience in the Solar or merchant Utility market desired. Similar technical industry would be considered.
  • Experienced with complex financially oriented sales to senior levels of management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%.
