Duties:
The scientists responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- High level of technical and practical input to determine effects of fuel composition on cell performance
and electrochemistry. - Planning and implementing technical work programmes, largely hands-on;
- Preparing scientific reports and technical presentations to effectively communicate results in a timely
manner; - Contributing as a team member or leader to cross-functional projects of some complexity to solve
practical technology problems.
Qualifications:
- Higher degree or PhD in materials/chemistry/chemical engineering subject.
- SOFC experience is highly desirable.
- Good level of technical and practical competence in related field.
- Able to learn quickly.
- Able to work concurrently on several projects.
- Good reporting skills (verbal and written).
- Good initiative able to think on feet.
- Self-starter, will have to work with minimal supervision and drive technical projects.
- Ability to plan and schedule time efficiently.
- Good team player, ability to work well in a highly flexible, small team environment
