Sunwell Technologies Inc. the developer of leading edge Variable-State Ice Technology and the Dynamic Global Leader in the rapidly expanding field of Food Preservation and Cleantech. Sunwell is the world's largest supplier of Variable-State Ice Slurry Systems to the fisheries, food processing, supermarket and ice thermal storage industries. Sunwell is also working closely with Loblaws to develop the Deepchill Thermo Battery Technology that delivers zero emissions transport refrigeration.

Position Overview:

Sunwell Technologies Inc. is looking for a senior sales professional with a proven track record of success and the drive to develop and implement a global sales strategy and make a significant contribution to the company's next phase of growth.  You will leverage your international experience in providing integrated customized solutions to corporate customers.

You will be experienced in developing new leads, a sales pipeline and agent distributor networks from multiple sources, building new relationships in the process.

The position reports directly to the CEO, and is based in the Company's headquarters in Woodbridge.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, and execute a global sales strategy with large corporate and multi-nationals complete with positioning company's capabilities and value proposition relative to market
  • Manage and grow the companies sales funnel
  • Develop and nurture a sales focused culture within the organization
  • Develop, manage and support an international agent/distributor network
  • Monitor industry trends and quickly adapt to changing market conditions
  • Manage customer expectations in line with the value proposition offered by the Company

Qualifications: 

  • Technical engineering background preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of senior sales experience
  • Experience with multi-level selling at operations and plant level through to finance and purchasing, including presentations to the corporate executive level
  • Strong sales leadership and negotiating skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated success in selling integrated solutions and systems
  • Experience in food processing, preservation or distribution markets, or alternatively in the seafood industry is ideal, alternatively selling customizable, large scale solutions in a complex consumer production environment
