Senior Sales Associate, Data Center Energy Efficiency

Polargy is an energy efficiency company that provides airflow management solutions for data centers. Polargy offers Hot and Cold Aisle Containment Systems and associated consulting services.

Position Overview: 

We are looking for a senior-level Sales Associate to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This person will be responsible for closing sales with end-user customers and generating revenue through various partners.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, grow and support partner relationships with Design/Build and Energy Services firms
• Establish, grow and foster end-user relationships with data center managers and facility managers
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and energy savings analysis
• Perform local (and sometimes not so local but still in Northern CA) site visits, field surveys, and demos.
• Represent the company at trade shows.

Qualifications:

• College graduate
• 5 years of solution selling experience in data center, facility, and/or HVAC environments
• A proven track record of consultative sales skills.
• Business acumen: familiarity with core business metrics (ROI, margins, etc.)
• Ability to display excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
• Highly driven, independent worker whose life commitments will allow them to spend the energy and time it will take to grow a young business to its next level.
• Located within driving distance of Sunnyvale, CA.
