Woodard & Curran is looking for a lead treatment engineer to join our growing firm. We understand the support necessary for those whose goal is to establish themselves as expert in their profession and thus, advance their career. Exciting projects, energetic technical support team, time to network in professional organizations, and exposure to
develop relationships with peers are all important.
You will have the opportunity to lead multi-discipline project teams from the concept, final design, construction phases and operations of facilities. You will have staff to mentor and clients to support. Not only will you have engineers to support you, but our integrated
operations and SCADA team will help you deliver a better product. And, you will be an active participant in our delivery system improvement programs.
We will support you to establish yourself as a widely recognized expert, with support from our marketing, management and sales staff. In order to secure Market & professional recognition, Woodard & Curran will provide opportunities to join professional committees, make presentations at conferences, participate in sales calls, and publish work with help from technical resources.
Performance measures include project revenue and profitability, quality of staff in that service area, cost of securing work, market place recognition through professional organizations, publications, presentations, and notoriety, and utilization. An advanced degree in civil engineering is desired, and professional registration is required.
Qualifications:
* 7 to 12 years experience in permitting, design and construction of both new plants and modifications to existing water treatment plants
* BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, a MS in Environmental Engineering preferred
* Experience working with municipal and private clients
* Familiar with all types of water treatment processes including microfiltration
* Excellent verbal and writing skills
* Well versed in Massachusetts, Connecticut and EPA regulations
* Knowledge of Massachusetts bidding laws and the SRF program necessary
* Massachusetts PE license required
