Description
Resource Solutions Group is a dynamic consulting company focusing on energy efficiency and integrated resource management, with current programs in sectors including wineries, K-12 school buildings, campus housing, as well as a targeted program promoting energy efficiency in HVAC and water efficiency for the residential sector.
The senior program manager will provide overall coordination and direction for one or more complex multi-year programs, and will also serve as a critical participant in project implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a project team to develop marketing and program implementation strategies that motivate customers to implement energy efficiency projects
- Forge relationships with industry leaders to implement cost effective solutions that enhance building performance and systems operations
- Manage staff and subcontractors, including tracking goals, and monitoring work flow and performance
- Oversee and participate in project implementation, including coordination of outreach and marketing, facilities audits and retrofit recommendations, and energy efficiency upgrade projects
- Track program metrics including participation, project status, energy savings, and budget expenditures
- Manage project resources, including staffing, budget, and subcontractor roles
- Prepare monthly and/or quarterly reports that provide relevant project updates
- Coordinate with clients on contractual requirements and program integration with broader energy efficiency programs in the sector
Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.A. in energy, environment, public policy or technical field desired
- A minimum of 5 years experience in resource efficiency or buildings related project management
- Strong aptitude for energy efficiency technology and building science
- Proficiency with relevant software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access and Project
- Strong presentation and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
This is a full time position based in Half Moon Bay that requires a willingness to travel, the ability to multitask, and a positive attitude. Flexible work arrangements such as telecommuting will be considered. Salary is commensurate with experience.
