As the marketplace evolves, the opportunities are plentiful for creating a positive environmental impact while assisting in Ecos' growth.  As a result, the Business Solutions team is now seeking a Senior Manager. In this key role, you will report to the VP of Business Solutions and have the opportunity to significantly impact our continued success.

Position Overview: 

As a Senior Manager focused on the foodservice sector, you will identify, manage, and deliver sustainability solutions for our clients in the foodservice sector. As the expert in the food industry, you will provide industry intelligence surrounding analysis of the businesses, policy and technology trends. You will support sales by interfacing with clients in the industry, communicating on a broad range of sustainability, operational, and industry issues as it pertains to their business.

Your responsibilities will range from client interaction and relationship management to providing day-to-day direction to a cross-functional, matrixed energy consulting team.

You will also be responsible for best practices and recommendations while supporting business development efforts including proposal development, marketing of our consulting services and attendance at industry events.

You will also be required to work with or manage our sub contractors verifying their performance on various projects on a regular basis. Your ability to work independently, manage time effectively is required, along with the ability to work in cross-functional and matrix-managed teams.

Qualifications: 

As our ideal candidate, you will possess a Bachelor's and Advanced degree in a related field plus a minimum of 5 years of experience as an energy/sustainability manager or consultant for the food service industry. You have a firm knowledge of operations in the industry including how food is received, stored, prepared, and served. You know the equipment and technology commonly used, and the issues that workers typically face in this environment. A CEM or PE certificate is preferred.

In addition, you will have at least 3 years of experience managing the delivery of project work plans, schedules and budgets to goals and targets. Experience in financial and marketing analysis plus an understanding of business and financial decision implications when delivering projects is required.

As a seasoned professional, you will have documented industry experience and a background working on cross-functional teams to attain business objectives. You bring a strong customer service and quality focus, with a reputation for integrity, openness and forthrightness. 

You have proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work in diverse organizations; exhibit effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills along with excellent negotiation, presentation and public speaking abilities. You are a visible contributor with a bias toward spending time with customers and approach challenges with a problem-solving, creative-thinking mentality.
